Beaumont Animal Care wants to check your pet’s microchips this week.
A news release from animal services said the department will be celebrating National Check The Chip day, which fell on Sunday, all this week.
“Microchips are the best way to ensure your lost pet gets back to you and it is vital that the information registered is accurate,” the release stated.

For cats or dogs that are not already microchipped, Beaumont Animal Care will be chipping for $15. Walk-ins will be welcome from Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..
