Dellait opens new laboratory in the US

Dellait animal nutrition company has opened a new laboratory in Brooking at the South Dakota State University Research Park, allowing the company to enhance feed and forage analytical services and expertise for cattle and crop farmers in Brookings and throughout the region. The laboratory includes NIR and wet chemistry equipment to process a high volume of samples.

Collective Knowledge Program launches microlearning on feed safety culture

Following the launch of the transport microlearning modules in early February, GMP+ International is now rolling out a series on feed safety culture in partnership with the Collective Knowledge Program. Various subjects will be covered over the coming months. The first microlearning in this series is now available on the platform.

Evonik strengthens methionine production hub in the US

Evonik will build a methyl mercaptan plant at its site in Mobile, Alabama, in the US. Methyl mercaptan is an intermediate in the production of MetAmino (DL-methionine) and is currently sourced from third parties. The plant is scheduled to come on stream in the second half of 2024.
