A pet supply store that carries dog, cat, fish and turtle food has opened in Harrisburg. Butler’s Pet Feed and Supplies has opened in space 16 at the Kline Plaza shopping center at 101 S. 25th St. The store will also carries toys, pet beds and pet care products.
Darryl and Celia Butler opened the store, which is next to Jackson Hewitt Tax Service on Nov. 1 with a ribbon-cutting with the city of Harrisburg. The store will also provide training tips and pet health advice. There is a digital weight scale available to monitor weight for pets for customers to use at no cost. Pets are welcome in the store.
Butler’s Pet Feed & Supplies will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
And the pet food and supply store isn’t the only new tenant for the shopping center. Four more tenants are on the way at Kline Plaza.
Jazzy Good Eats, a soul food restaurant is expected to open in space 12 early next year. All American Insurance is expected to open in space 120 in the upstairs portion of the shopping center at the end of this month.
Rainbow, which sells women’s clothing including plus size clothing as well as children’s clothing, shoes and accessories is expected to open in a 7,300-square-foot space in the winter.
Hibbett Sports, which opened at the Colonial Park Mall in Lower Paxton Township in December 2016 is relocating to the shopping center. Hibbett Sports offers footwear, apparel for college and pro sports as well as athletic equipment for baseball, basketball, football and soccer. The store will occupy a 5,400-square-foot space and is expected to open in the winter as well.
A number of new tenants have opened at the Kline Village shopping center already this year.
In May, a home care agency, Exceptional Hearts Home Care Agency opened in the former Sweet Home Healthcare office. Rapid Sandwiches & More, which serves up salads, subs, quesadillas, wings and more opened in April. Crisp Sweepstakes Café also opened in April. O’lee De Lux Hair Salon opened in March. The nonprofit, Higher Level Community Outreach opened in an upstairs space at the shopping center in July.
Kline Plaza is owned by Nassimi Realty and has more than 25 tenants including Giant, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree and Citi Trends.
