She is easy to leash, very eager to walk to the play yard; but knows how to walk well on leash. While at the play yard, Naya has displayed a gentle and dainty play style. She loves to greet other dogs and sometimes show a push and pull play. She is very social and friendly with other dogs, offering and enticing them to play. Naya is recommended to be in a home with children eight years (middle school-aged) and older. She gets along with dogs her size and is tolerant being around other dogs. Mattie is a two-year-old spayed tan pit bull that came to the Palmdale Animal Care Center as a stray on May 30. Mattie is easy to handle, allowed petting and readily seeks her handlers attention. She is to leash and knows how to walk well on leash. During her play yard time, Mattie displayed a gentle and dainty play style, allowed greetings from other dogs, and didn’t mind being around other dogs. She tolerant of their greetings and love to watch other dogs play. As she became comfortable in the play yard, Mattie also displayed a soft push and pull puppy like play style. She comes back to her handler for attention and petting. Mattie is recommended for a home with children eight and older, and will do well with calm dogs. Snowy is a six-year-old spayed female flame point Siamese cat that came to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as an owner surrender, due to the owner having too many cats. She is a lovable girl that is easy to please just by giving her some attention and pets. Animal name: Daisy
Daisy is a one-year, seven-month-old blue, spayed female pit bull that came to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a stray. In the play yard she spent time playing in the pool and splashing around by herself. She then began play bowing with a female pit bull with a loose body, soft eyes and natural tail. They played chase for a few minutes and then resumed exploring for the remainder of her stay in the yard. Recommendations for her new home are children middle school aged and over, and calm dogs. Gus Gus is a two-year-old black and tan neutered male German shepherd dog that came to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as an owner surrender. His family was moving and couldn’t find a new home for him. He doesn’t like cats, birds or squirrels and hasn’t been around small dogs yet. He kept to himself in the play yard and created space after the initial greetings. He did not seek to engage with the other dogs and appeared uncomfortable when other dogs tried to interact with him. Recommendations for his new home are children high school age or older, and no other dogs.
