Cats are notorious for getting into places they shouldn’t be. Ask any cat owner and they can probably tell you a story about how their fur baby crawled into a drawer or an open cabinet or ended up on a super high shelf and no one has any idea how they got there.
Well, TikTok account holder @Kealmod80 was reminded of this feline character trait when her husband was doing a little DIY drywall project in their house. Just watch the following video to see exactly what happened to their beautiful cat Derek.

We are pretty sure someone noticed Derek hadn’t been asking to be fed or petted or else they heard meowing coming from somewhere in the house and they figured it out! We love how happy Derek looked when he was finally rescued!
To be fair, this sneaky cat was probably having all sorts of adventures while in the wall. At least his owners can be pretty sure they won’t be discovering any mice in that room!
