PetDine opens new manufacturing facility

FORT COLLINS, COLO. — PetDine announced the official opening of its new cold extrusion manufacturing facility on Dec. 13. Located in Windsor, Colo., the 105,000-square-foot facility triples PetDine’s current capacity of soft chew pet products.

“PetDine’s capacity expansion creates significant opportunities,” said Elizabeth Barth, vice president, PetDine. “Our top priority is supporting the success of our clients by providing the most innovative and highest-quality products for pets.”

The company specializes in highly customizable pet treats and supplements, including baked and semi-moist treats, long food products, blends, soft chews, liquids and powders. PetDine exports its products to more than 15 countries.

PetDine originally announced plans for a facility expansion in August 2021, investing $25 million in the project. The facility will support the company’s production of soft chews, as well as liquids and powders.

The new facility increases PetDine’s overall manufacturing space to more than 375,000 square feet spread throughout Fort Collins, Windsor, and Harvard, Ill.

ADM acquired 75% ownership in PetDine in September 2021 as part of its acquisition of P4 Companies.

“Our continued investment in new production facilities and state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and technologies are intended to help support our customers, while improving the lives of pets,” said Jorge Martinez Carrillo, president of ADM Pet Nutrition. “Our ambition is to be a leader in pet nutrition.”
