    Boji the dog rides a historic tram in Istanbul’s Kadıköy neighborhood. A street dog named Boji has become something of a celebrity in Istanbul, where he travels around the city on its ferries, trams and subway cars. His adventures came to light a couple of months ago, and municipal officials began to track his movements. They were amazed at his resourcefulness. “He knows where to go. He knows where to get out,” said Avlin Erol, the head of customer relations at Metro Istanbul.     (CNN) — Ten years ago, the Italian area of Cinque Terre was hit by a deadly flood. On October 25, 2011, the five tiny fishing villages — which had long been a magnet for tourists from all over the world — were hit by one of the worst inundations the area had ever seen.     ‘We are pursing charges locally’ Sheriff says of Iowa dog breeder

    A Southern Iowa dog breeder is under investigation, after the federal Department of Agriculture found more than a hundred violations at his Seymour, Iowa facility. Since March, USDA records show investigators found 120 violations of the Animal Welfare Act at Daniel Gingrich’s dog breeding facility. Over a six-month period, but only shut down the facility in early September by suspending Gingrich’s license for 21 days.
